This “How to” page has been created to tell people How To get to Heaven. Our goal here at QBC is to tell of the saving grace of God & to encourage the Christian in their walk with God

The very first thing you need to understand is that all of mankind are sinners, the Bible tells us this in Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory God;”. Once you have excepted how God views us next would be the need of a Savior, you may ask yourself why, its explained in Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Through Jesus we have access to approach God. In 1 Timothy 2:5 reveals to us this fact. “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; verse 6 tells us “Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.” Jesus said himself this, “John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Maybe you thinking to yourself how as a sinner can I approach a Holy & Just God. I am glad you asked. Romans 10:9-10 and 13 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” verse 13 states this “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” You can not work your way to heaven or work for your salvation. Ephesians 2:8-9 clearly states that.

Please do not let this opportunity slip through your hands, we are not guaranteed a tomorrow. Reciting a prayer will not do anything for anyone if its not genuine from the heart. Just going through the motions won’t please God. Here is a model prayer that you can use as a guide. I recommend using your own words. “Jesus, I thank you for dying for me. I know you died to pay for my sins. I receive you now as my Savior.
